Signature block
  • Once you register with WriteThat.Name, our servers analyze the emails that you receive and detect the signatures of your correspondents.
  • Then, our semantic engine extracts and categorizes each of the elements found in the signature, including enriched profiles from social networks such as Viadeo or LinkedIn.

  • WriteThat.Name then compares each element found in your Gmail address book. If the contact already exists, WriteThat.Name will add the new detected information found in the signature. Otherwise, we will create a new contact with all the information identified.

  • Later that day, you will receive an email summarizing the new information detected by WriteThat.Name. If you selected the ‘Auto-Update’ mode then the changes to your address book will have already been made, and this email is sent in order to inform you of these changes.
  • However, if you selected the ‘Manual Validation’ mode, then no change will be made to your address book until you validate each suggested modification or addition within the email summary.
  • How do you select your mode? When you register you are set up with the ‘Auto-Update’ mode. You can change this function by going into your Preferences and checking the 'Manual Update' option. You will then need to validate each new modification or addition sent within the email summary.
